apparently when i listen to elton john i get crazy inspired to babble on about nothing. especially at 4 in the morning, when most normal people are either sleeping or getting up early for work. new journal, new start, new drivel.

honestly i think some of elton's best work was on some of his earliest, most underrated of albums. captain fantastic & the brown dirt cowboy for example. the layering is incredible and goes from that classic feel of bowie & queen to a honky tonk vibe in the span of one song. too bad he's a bitchy old man going through man-o-pause as we speak. firing your longtime manager who built you up? not cool, elton.

i guess the bitch really is back. in other news, i need another job.
